I know I have been bringing you reviews of video games in the traditional sense, the kind played with a console connected to a television but now I want to talk about something I have recently started. They are Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games or MMORPG for short.
These are games played on the internet. They can be visual (have graphics) or text based (just words describing what happened). These games can be free to costing around $15 usd a month. The most popular visual ones are World of Warcraft and Counter Strike. I am not a fan of visual games because a very fast connection is needed to excel.
My 3 favorite text based games are Kings of Chaos (KoC), Knights Divine (KD) and Days of War (DoW). I play these as much as my Playstation. They can be kind of addicting but also very fun. When I play these games you can join other people forming chains or clans. By doing this I get to meet people from all over the world. This is nice when its kind of hard to travel!! If you need help playing and understanding how to play there are tons of people that will help.
There are games for everytype of interest. The first 2 I play are in the realm of fantasy (dwarves, elves and that kind of thing) and the last is a WWII alternative (a what if thing). It is also for any age. I have seen people as young as 11 and old as 48 playing. For concerned parents don't worry these games are monitored heavily by the game administrators!!
The fun had here with these games is more than worth it. They are also very easy to play. If you can type, speak and click yo can do this. I know all of us find ways to do them all!! Well, hopefully I'll see some of you there. Happy Gaming!!
Here goes people...this isn't a game review but a system review. This past holiday season the video game world had 3 brand new options. One of which was the Nintendo Wii. This system was unique in its concept. Using more physical actions to make the characters in the games do what you want. Basically, FUN!!
Recently while I was at a friends house I got to try this new system with a few of my disabled friends. Now I only played the sports games (Well I am a sports fanatic!!). And I found out something, this system is actually possible for us to play. It was very physically demanding but fun. It was worth it. It could be some of the best upper body physical therapy I have ever done!! We all used muscles we didn't realize we had.
So for all you people out there who can't get physical therapy...or want to be able to do something with your friends and family...Buy the Wii. It can be more rewarding than you would think.

Yes I am a huge gaming freak and first owned a PS3, although recently we bought a Wii and it is a blast for the whole family. It takes muscle use but not the full body action like they make it look. It might be a challenge for some to play although it's still a blast.

Elio this is a great article. You have inspired me to borrow my friend's Wii and test out the excercise!

The Wii is a work out for everyone! Definitely a new concept for the video game consoles. Exercise is easy when it's fun.

The Wii is for me! I was with Jon when we first played the Wii and it was definitely some great physical therapy. I highly recommend it.

Overview
The game I am bringing to you now is Pirates of theAlthough the game is called At Worlds End, I am not really sure if that should the games title. Almost half of the game is the second movie. Disney should have gone back to the beginning and released a trilogy game. It would have covered up the lack of depth to the game.
The Story mode of the game follows Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann and Captain Barbosa. There is no choice on what person you may use during the game. Also there is no way of strengthening the characters. This makes the game boring since everyone is the same. There are, however, many unlockable people, art, etc.
There is two other parts to the game. The first is the Challenge mode. All you do in this section is try and accomplish a goal in a certain time limit. The reward is more unlockables. The only other section of the game is the Dueling mode. It may sound like fun but it really isn’t. You can pick any character you have unlocked to fight character you fought during the story mode (like the twins in
Audio/Visual
The graphics were not the highest quality I have ever seen. The camera angles were terrible for playing. What makes is worse is that there is no way of changing them. This makes it uncomfortable to play. These poor graphics show a disappointing pattern for a game based on a great trilogy of movies that were fantastic visually. If there were clips from the movie it would have helped a little but this game doesn’t even have that. So no real Johnny Depp (sorry ladies).
The background music was the classic music from the movies. So this was pleasant. The Sound Effects were great as well. From the explosions to the clashing of swords, this is one area that this game did not disappoint.Accessibility
The controls on this game are as simple as a game gets. But even with that the buttons are spread out. The use of two of the trigger buttons is required. And as with so many other features of the game the controller is not adjustable. Unless you can reach the triggers I would not recommend playing the game. I really don’t recommend people buying the game but rent it so you can to see for yourself. If anyone has other ideas for how to hold and use a controller for any system go ahead and tell me and I will put them in reviews to follow. This has been gimp tested gamer disapproved.

Where can a person find these 3 text-based games?
