Living in a mid sized city such as Lethbridge, I feel discriminated against by other people who do not have disabilities. People view me as being different even though I am no different than the Joe Blow down the road.

being from remote area its always good to learn about disability issues maybe friends might need help in that area!

The hardest thing about being disabled is the feeling of being trapped in locations. I get trapped by my Food Allergies or my Periodic Paralysis. Due to the Food Allergies I can go to locations that WILL ban Popcorn! Due to the Periodic Paralysis I have to have a patient advocate with me most of the time or I risk being forced to go to the ER for a minor incident I won't receive treatment for. Since I am not allowed to drive, my freedom is directly related to whomever I can convince me to drive me this time.
