The Office is NBC's fake-documentary reality show about working in the office of a paper-supply company called Dunder Mifflin.  The Office won an Emmy Award in 2006 for it's hilarious look at the lives of diverse characters in the workplace.

 The manager, Michael Scott (played by Steve Carell), believes that he is the world's best boss and funny man.  His antics often get him into trouble, but amazingly, never fired.

 The Assitant (to) the Regional Manager is Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) who is the constant suck-up to the boss, known for his irritating habits, ruthlessness (PG-rated), and fake ninja skills.

Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) is the woman-next-door receptionist who amazingly tolerates the antics of her boss.  Her care-free attitude certainly helps in the dysfunctional environment.  She likes to draw,  recently had an engagement fall apart, and is secretly in love with Jim.

Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) is a likable sales rep who has the delightful experience of sharing his desk area with Dwight.  In response to Dwight's constant antics, Jim along with Pam, delight in playing tricks on him.

 Other characters include :  Jan Levinson (Melora Hardin), Roy (David Denman), Stanley Hudson (Leslie David Baker), Meredith Palmer (Kate Flannery), Angela Martin (Angela Kinsey), Oscar Martinez (Oscar Nuñez), Phyllis Lapin (Phyllis Smith), Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling), and Toby (Paul Lieberstein).
