What you need:
1 stick of butter
1 pint of heavy whipping cream
1 cup of grated parmesan
1 tablespoon of garlic salt
Pasta of choice (fresh preferred)
Directions:
Melt the butter entirely in a large saucepan. Ad the cream (keep on low-medium heat), stirring constantly. Once fully mixed, add the garlic salt to taste. Let simmer, and then start the pasta. Once the pasta is almost done add the parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring constantly until it melts completely (no lumps!). And once the cheese is melted, serve immediately.
Fun additions to the sauce:
- Cubed ham and peas
- Mushrooms
- Chicken strips and broccoli florets.
