Overview:
I have experience working on one of the largest Epic deployments across the United States.Although I have a mild disability since birth, I graduated from Dominican University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.I have 4 years of working as a Registered Nurse in adult and pediatric settings.I transferred to the Electronic Medical Record project because it utilizes my experience as a Registered Nurse and my computer/technology skills.I obtained my Epic certification with In-Patient Clinical Documentation and I have taken part of the In-Patient Orders training from Epic. As a Program Manager/Application Coordinator I participated in the design and evaluation process with a large group of employees from throughout our region. As a member of the Clinical Documentation team I participated in building frowsheets including templates, groups and rows.I worked with other regions to standardize rows across all regions to ensure that information would flow across our deployment.I have also built a variety of SmartText for various types of users.I have also built documentation navigators for various specialty users.I participated in the testing and Q/A evaluation of the build.
