Overview:

I have experience working on one of the largest Epic deployments across the United States.  Although I have a mild disability since birth, I graduated from Dominican University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.  I have 4 years of working as a Registered Nurse in adult and pediatric settings.  I transferred to the Electronic Medical Record project because it utilizes my experience as a Registered Nurse and my computer/technology skills.  I obtained my Epic certification with In-Patient Clinical Documentation and I have taken part of the In-Patient Orders training from Epic. As a Program Manager/Application Coordinator I participated in the design and evaluation process with a large group of employees from throughout our region.  As a member of the Clinical Documentation team I participated in building frowsheets including templates, groups and rows.  I worked with other regions to standardize rows across all regions to ensure that information would flow across our deployment.  I have also built a variety of SmartText for various types of users.  I have also built documentation navigators for various specialty users.  I participated in the testing and Q/A evaluation of the build.
