Overview:

I am from Lethbridge Alberta, I have been living here for a little over

7 years.  I have an intellectual disability along with a mental health problem.

I am hoping that I can use this website to find and make new friends.  I 

work at Tony Roma's in Lethbridge as a dishwasher, and have been there

for 2 years.  I really love it there, but I want to be a part of something

 that is especially for people with disabilities

How has your disability changed your life...for better or worse?:

It depends.  Ever since I moved to Lethbridge, I felt like I have been

discriminated against by society who look at me like I am different.  But

it has changed for the better, as I would not have been able to look for and

keep my current job.

How have you overcome obstacles?:

I joined a job training program for people with disabilities who want to join

the workforce, and met new friends who really do care about me

What is your most embarrassing moment?:

Was accidentally walking into a Men's changeroom and seeing all of these

naked guys

What is your most triumphant moment?:

Graduating from high school, and maintaining solid employment, and

moving out into the real world

What are your dreams...for yourself and your peers?:

My dreams are to be able to work with other people with disabilities such

as myself

Overview:

My job at Tony Roma's is dish washing.  I have been doing it for a little over

2 years.  It is kind of overwhelming for me sometimes, as I get veryfrustrated

as it is a very fast paced job.  I work for minimum wage, Monday-Friday
