About the Paralympics
The Paralympic Games are a multi-sport event for athletes with physical, mental and sensory disabilities. There are 20 sports included in the Paralympic Games, including crowd favorites Wheelchair Rugby and Basketball. The name Paralympic is often thought of as a derivative of the terms "paraplegic" and "Olympic" but is actually reflective of the Greek term "para-" as in parallel or alongside to the Olympics.

Thanks to some last-minute arrangements, video coverage of the Paralympics will be available in some online capacity.

Here at Xable, we're sad to not be personally delivering to you our standard, commentated broadcasts direct from Beijing, but we do hope to provide you with the tools and information to follow the Paralympics alongside us.
